December 20, 2001 - December 18th Benefit Show Results
The show on December 18th was a big success. We raised $83.25 in cold hard cash and with contributions of food we weighed in at 54 pounds of edibles. Thank you all so much for coming out and supporting the cause. Also a big thanks to the surprise gifts of goodies and the large cookie which was shared by all. Our names were finally in lights ... Christmas tree lights ... made of frosting ... on a decorated cookie ... but in lights nevertheless. Thank you Tom, Jenn, Beth and all.
December 15, 2001 - No Shows on December 25, 2001 or January 1, 2002
During the holiday season we like to spend time with our families and friends and pass that thought on to all of you, our loyal followers. This time of year visiting hours at the prison allow us to spend more time with those who lighten our life and warm our hearts. We are taking the break to renew our relationships with our incarcerated family and friends that we have framed over the years. Take time to do the same. See you all January 8, 2002.
December 11, 2001 - December 18th Benefit Show
The show on December 18th will be a benefit for the Second Harvest Food Bank. All monies collected that evening will be donated to the Second Harvest Food Bank. Additionally attendees are encouraged and moderately threatened to bring cans of food and other nonperishables that evening as well. Thank you all for your support.
November 15, 2001 - Currie Adams Number Retired
Currie Adams has gone the way of Mark McGwire. After two years in the group he has gone on to better things, such as public broadcasting, DVD collecting and fantasy film watching. While this is surprising to some, it is not news to others. Tom Brokaw was aghast, yet Dan Rather was nonchalant about the whole thing. Go figure. Currie can be reached for comment through Miss Cleo and Hospitaliano®.
October 19, 2001 - That was quick - Bye Ely
Ely Smith has left the group. Yep, two shows and then off to pursue the acting thing. For those of you enjoying the presence of a female on stage again, we will have to go back to the old standard of Bill in drag. Meanwhile look for Ely at various and sundry WSDT Theatre Performances. She'll be the one not in our group anymore.
